ON BEING A PROUD GRANDFATHER

I Have 10 Grandchildren. 5 boys…5 girls
The oldest is in her 30s the youngest is just over 10 months old.
Something happened last week that made me so, so proud.
I just must share it with you.
Let me start by saying this has been a tough few months at our house.
Two of our dogs have died.
First to go was Mussolini who was 6 years old and he ate some sharp turkey bones
that had been left in our backyard by racoons.
A few weeks ago, Shlomo, the love of my life, died of old age. He was 17 years old.
Our house feels too quiet and too empty.
My daughter Jodi, in a wonderful act of kindness, contacted a breeder and purchased
two pups. One for my daughter Donna, who recently lost her dog and one for me and my wife
The beautiful, Judy Licht.
From the pictures we receive every few days, our new puppy is so so tiny and he will live with the breeder until he comes to our house in April.
Now comes the time when everyone wants to name the sweet little puppy who is no bigger than your hand.
Everyone has a name for this tiny pup.
That’s when my Granddaughter Annabel announced that she knew what her “Grandpa Jerry’ was going to name the puppy and “We have to try to stop him.”
“How do you know what he is going to call the dog?”, she was asked.
“Because I know him and I know just how he thinks, and I’m positive what he will name this poor little pup.”
“And, you’re sure?”
“I’m positive,” was Annabel’s answer. “I know just how his mind works”
She was right. When I heard the name the name that Annabel decided I would call the new pup I felt so, so proud.
I’m very, very old and my pride is that in this whole wide world there is one person who truly knows me. And she still loves me.
When my daughter Jodi pressed Anabel to tell her the name that I wanted to call this sweet little pup. Annabel answered…
“Epstein!”
She added “This sweet innocent puppy will go through life with the name Epstein. “We have to stop Grandpa Jerry.”
Epstein!
I say “Epstein” has a nice ring to it.
Do you agree?

IRAN
Here’s what I think. Trump did the most important, positive act in his Presidency when he joined with Israel, and they blew the monster Ayatollah Khamenei and his miserable gang to pieces.
It was great for the people of Iran. It was great for you and me. It was great for the world.
And give Trump credit. He did what no American President, Republican or Democrat, before him did.
They all allowed Iran to rope-a-dope them while Iran was building a nuclear bomb that they wouldn’t have hesitated to use on us.
Should Trump have consulted with Democrats first as the Constitution says? Of course. But if he did that, Ayatollah Khamenei would still be alive.
Just imagine Chuck Schumer sitting in Congress saying “Humma, Humma, Humma” for the next 3 years while Iran is pulling our legs in endless “peace” negotiations.
With that, let me state that Donald Trump is the greatest liar and exaggerator in the history of mankind.
Do you believe his reason for attacking Iran? Don’t. It’s probably a lie.
Is Jeffery Epstein and his files part of it? It makes more sense than anything Trump has said so far.
Was it to stop Iran for having a nuclear bomb in the next 3 months or 3 minutes as he hinted?
No that’s a lie. How can Iran have a bomb in the works, when on June 21 2025 Trump had proudly said our bombs had OBLITERATED Iran’s nuclear capacity.
Did Trump have the killing of Khamenei in mind when he held his “The country is in the greatest shape in its history" State of the Union, victory speech the other day.
Of course he did.
And watch. At the next State of the Union speech, Trump will award the American Congressional Medal Of Honor to the Israeli Pilot who dropped the bomb that blew the Ayatollah Khamenei and his gang to smithereens.
And now let’s talk of a President of the United States speaking to the country on an historic occasion while wearing a frigging baseball cap that said USA.
What the hell was that all about?
Imagine George Washington crossing the Delaware wearing a “R” for Revolution baseball cap. The British would have laughed their asses off and we’d still be their subjects.
How about President Franklin Roosevelt wearing a baseball cap with the letter H (he want to Harvard) when he announced Japan’s Day of infamy Dec 8 1941.
How about Dwight Eisenhower announcing the Normandy Landings while wearing a baseball cap with the letters WP (He went to West Point).
Imagine any President of the United States wearing a baseball cap while giving a major speech. First, you’ll laugh and then you’ll realize just how much trouble we’re in now.
In conclusion, maybe we should thank our lucky stars that Trump wore a baseball cap that said USA when he spoke about the war with Iran.
From 1964 to 1966 Trump attended Fordham University and one day he would be clueless enough to make a solemn speech to the American people wearing a baseball cap with. the letters FU.
